There were around 15 different versions of these artworks in one of the underground tram stations - all depicting different views of Hong Kong city life! If you ever visit Hong Kong, I highly recommend visiting Hysan Place. Unlike other malls, this one was all things creative including this wooden toy store called "Wooderful Life" - basically wooden toy central where you can also make a few yourself! What's a Chinese New Year without some festive flower markets? Above is one of the biggest, most delicious red velvet cakes I've ever had! It was in a cafe called "Lady M". Not surprisingly, there was quite a queue but it was definitely worth the wait! Let's just say a long Kayla session took place after this beauty. Below is a black sesame cupcake...I'm not the biggest fan but mum said it was delicious so if you're into black sesame...try away! With one year of uni over, my family and I decided to celebrate with a little two-week adventure back to our home town, Hong Kong. Having visited a few times when I was younger, we decided not to just have a relaxing (as relaxing as the buzzing Hong Kong city can be) time, walking around the wharf and well, eat a lot of food! We were also lucky enough to be there during Chinese New Year so there were the prettiest flower markets happening!
